The diapo was found on the floor of the local recycling centre many months ago.
I accidentally came across ‘Waiting for Godot’ during the first days of isolation. These few lines seemed to perfectly describe the lockdown and the disappointing reaction of the authorities.
A short movie about populism (as: the people’s need of a strong leader), about privilege and control, about immigration, displacement and about our dis-connection with nature.

A 90 seconds movie that portrays Italy as I see it from abroad. A country where swings get gradually empty; a country clogged in stillness, in the contemplation of a supposedly glorious past, where you can’t break the ice, where the clock moves more backward than forward, never allowing you to get into that damned merry go round.
