So many of the collages I made in my teenage years were lost because I did not consider them legitimate art. Only a few mixtape covers survived. As a homage to my younger self, I have started making collages again, as a middle-aged, quite unapologetic woman. They are usually born as cutouts from magazines I find on the pavement with post-its that say ‘please take’.

Another outcome of middle age has been my “mean craft” works, mainly politely directed at the people I live with, aka my family, and their guests.
