The Influencers and the Baba Jaga of Gentrification Video performance and moving image

The Influencers and the Baba Jaga of Gentrification reflects on the paradox of our time: we long to live in beautiful, cared-for environments, yet the moment beauty appears, it becomes a commodity, something to be packaged, photographed, and sold.
Today, beautification is often presented as progress — cleaner streets, renovated houses, curated aesthetics. This creates a tension we carry: on one hand, we celebrate the renewal of the places we inhabit; on the other, we resist gentrification - the transformation that displaces the very people who gave those places their soul, and that turns beauty into a privilege accessible only to those who can afford it.
