Theatre

Between 2002 and 2013 I ran the theatre group Ursa Maior in Bologna (Italy), Ursa Maior has been, in the years, home to several performers.

Since 2016, I have been making stuff with Cut Moose, a charity founded by puppeteer Helen Ainsworth and myself.

My work uses principles from physical theatre and is created through physical improvisation and devised work with performers. It is informed by feminist studies and practice; lived experience and media representations of migration and globalisation; and a critical engagement with the media’s spectacularisation of political violence and social tensions.
